Bad players are abusing social media. They misinform and harm humanity by manipulating people to gain power. They disrupt our way of life, our democracies, and are not replacing what they have destroyed with a viable and sustainable alternative. This cannot continue in my name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I will reactivate my social media accounts, when hate speech and fake news have returned to levels that are acceptable to a society that cherishes democratic ideals, human rights and protects user data on social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Below you find reliable sources that highlight how dangerous social media has become under the leadership of the social media elite. There are many more studies lilke this that report similar results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I encourage you to boycott social Facebook and Twitter. Let the social media elite know that you disagree with their goals. Spend more time with your friends and family and less time on social media. Life happens right in front of you \u2013 not on your smart phone. Or to put it in the language of the disruptor elite:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
